Park Manor is fortunate to have many talented students. We have exceptionally talented academics, artists, creative artists and athletes. When you have that kind of talent, it is wonderful to see the diversity of activities during nutrition breaks. Our extra-curricular programs flourish because of it.
When many schools must encourage exercise, we are lucky that we have such a very physically active group of students here at PKM. Some students are stretching their physical talents independently. They are running hard and fast, practicing their baseball skills and even choreographing complex dance and gymnastics routines. Our staff continue to support our students during their play but they are not equipped to provide formal coaching during the students’ outdoor recess time. Therefore, we ask that families encourage students to be physically active at a level that reflects their skills and the safety equipment that they are using.
