The Terry Fox run is important to many of us. So many of us have been touched by cancer, but years of support are improving the odds for all types of cancer. Park Manor has had a long history of supporting the Terry Fox Run. This year, we are so proud of the energy and commitment that our students had. We raised over $3500 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Our staff got into the spirit of things as well. From skipping the route, to allowing students to dress and do the make-up of various staff, or putting pies in the face of a teacher, everyone did their part to encourage the students to raise for Terry Fox. So, if you see some staff members walking around town with brightly coloured hair … you will know why! Fun was had by many and we deeply appreciate the community’s support.
We may be a small school, but when we do it, we do it big. Congratulations Panthers!
