On Wednesday November 18th, 20 students from our student council were invited to the food bank to tour the facility and help sort food. This was the winning prize from our October food drive where our students collected over 1400 pounds of food. The students loved getting to sort through all the canned and boxed food items and then tour the massive facility where all the food is stored. They were thrilled to have 4 of the Kitchener Rangers join in and help with the food sorting. The students then got to enjoy a pizza lunch served by the Rangers followed by autographs and pictures. It was a wonderful opportunity for our Park Manor students!
